Who We Are

Tausi Forests Ltd is a 50/50 joint venture between Shell’s Nature-Based Solutions business and The New Forests Company, combining decades of forestry expertise with cutting-edge carbon market knowledge.

Our name, Tausi—Swahili for peacock—symbolizes our commitment to natural beauty, biodiversity, and regenerative development.

Our Purpose

We exist to safely manage and grow forests that deliver climate benefits, biodiversity protection, and equitable prosperity for local communities in Tanzania and Uganda. Through reforestation, carbon sequestration, and ethical forestry, we create long-term value for our shareholders, partners, local communities and the planet.
